Gary Kolkhorst

Gary has worked in public accounting for over forty years.  Gary along with his brother, Kenny, founded and led Kolkhorst & Kolkhorst CPAs from 1981 until the merger with Fitts, Roberts in January 2019.

Gary provides general business and tax consulting for individuals and privately held businesses in various industries, including manufacturing services, construction, real estate developing and many others.

Gary is a 1976 graduate of Texas Lutheran University where he was a member of the baseball team.  He is married to  his wife, Kathy and they have two daughters, a son and six grandchildren.  Gary is an active member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church where he has served in various leadership positions including board chairman.  Gary was president of the Karl Young College Baseball League and the Houston Sports Association.  Currently Gary serves on the board of regents of Texas Lutheran University.

Gary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
